A fantastic website for KS filmmakers

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to inform you of a website I've come across recently that I think is quite good. It's:
It's a social networking site for film people in Kansas. It's a good site, but it definitely needs more members and more activity. Please sign up for it and show your support!

Oh, and by the way, the Kansas City FilmFest was spectacular! I had a really good time this year. One film in particular that I was impressed with was Heartland Transport, a film about gay and lesbian couples from Missouri that traveled to Iowa to get married. I had a chance to talk with the filmmaker and he's a really cool guy. Visit his site as well:

Over and out,

kansas city filmfest- round 2!

When I first came to the Kansas City FilmFest in 2008, it had a different name (Jubilee), a different venue, (Tivoli), and a different vibe (I suppose. Mostly I just needed a third item for the list). Now that is 2010, I am so stoked to be a part of a whole new film festival with my film “machines; corrupt” screening there. The Tivoli was nice, don’t get my wrong, but there is something quite amazing about knowing that MY film will screen with so many other wonderful films at an AMC Theatre.

I remember when I used to work at an AMC I would dream that a film I made would be playing in one of the theaters. NOW IT IS! I really can’t hold back my excitement. Actually, I might crap my pants. Wish me luck!
